Eternally humble. The only phrase that hoovers close enough to putting my Dad’s character in words. To know my Dad and his story, is to love him whole-heartedly. I owe it all to you. A true story of “started from the bottom” and now you’re here… and I am lucky enough to be here with you. I You are the epitome of selflessness. Being a Bruin dad to a Trojan daughter doesn’t even make a dent in expressing your selflessness. Every move I make is a step closer to becoming an individual that makes you proud to call yours. In utter seriousness, If you don’t want to be Farshad when you grow up, you’re doing it all wrong, respectfully. I love you more than words can say. You’re my rock, my hero, my role model, and my friend. Thank you for pushing me to be the best version of myself, no matter how resistant I may be. I might have outgrown American Girl Dolls, water parks, and razor scooters, but I will never outgrow looking up to you. Facing my early 20s ahead is overwhelming, but your presence, love, and advice lights my path. No matter where my path may lead me, you stay beside me. I love you unconditionally. Happy Birthday, Dad.
